I love to read the old-fashioned way, by holding an actual book. Something about turning the pages and actually highlighting things that stand out to me help me more than reading on my Kindle. Plus going back and being able to flip through a book to find what I am looking for is easier for this old girl.
I have struggled with anxiety for over 20 years. I have read a lot on both anxiety and faith. Plus I’ve done studies on anxiety. I have talked to several ladies who have the same issue as me so, I thought I would put together a list of the books that have helped me over the years.

5 Faith-Based Books On Anxiety That You Must Read
These books are in no special order of favorites.
Anxious For Nothing, Finding Calm in a Chaotic World by Max Lacado
Get Out of Your Head by Jenny Allen– This is an amazing book. I have done the study that goes with this twice. The book and the video series really helped me stop the spiral of negative thoughts that I kept having. One thought would lead to a long spiral of thoughts that weren’t even true and the next thing I knew the worst things have happened in my mind causing me so much anxiety.
You can watch the videos for this book and study for free if you have a Right Now Media account.
Winning the War in Your Mind: Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life by Craig Groeschel– Another great book that is filled with ways to change your thought process.
Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table: It’s Time to Win the Battle of Your Mind… by Louie Giglio. This was so eye-opening how we let the enemy into our lives and let him sit with us at our table all the time!
Attaching Anxiety From Panicked and depressed to Alive and Free by Shawn Johnson– This is such a great book. It’s filled with truth and I love how honest Shawn is about hihs own struggles.
